Synopsis

While searching for a serial killer, an FBI agent discovers a series of hidden clues that she must solve in order to stop his horrific rampage. Many of Longlegs’ encrypted messages contain spelling and grammatical errors once decrypted. The movie “Longlegs” is about a serial killer who commits shocking crimes and a federal agent tries to expose him. Despite his brief appearance, Nicolas Cage conveys feelings of fear and anxiety throughout the film. The role suits him very well and we can say: “Welcome back, you genius”.

The source of the evil and the driving force of the events were very good

Actress Maika Monroe shined in her role and I think this is the second film I’ve seen her in after “It Follows”. The film’s filming style was excellent, with a wide angle that ensured that all the main characters were in the center of the screen. However, overall, the film honestly didn’t offer anything new and I expected it to be more scary or mysterious due to its genre. At least something more shocking should have been revealed, considering that the events were too slow to reward the viewer after such a long wait.

In the end, it’s a good horror and mystery film, but it doesn’t deserve so much praise

Many films like “Zodiac” or “Silence of the Lambs” preceded it with this type of story and seemed to be better in terms of mystery and shocking brutality.
