I would be honest
Referenced in WatchMojo: Top 10 Most Shocking Disney Plus Day Reveals (2021). I never intended to watch Agatha All Along after recent let downs from Marvel with Ant-Man 3, The Marvels, and Secret Invasion home screen and decided to give it a chance.Initially believing to just skim through, I was genuinely surprised and taken over by the show, sitting through for the entire runtime as well as the credits (great music).In many ways this series is a complete tie-in and successor to WandaVision (one of my all time favorites), even more so than Doctor Strange 2, which according to me, had a flawed script.Regardless, Agatha All Along bound me in with its guessing plot similar to WV.
Director Jac Schaefer did complete justice to the settingStory Although the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th episodes had more of campy elements, the intrigue was never lost
Then came episode 5 and boy was I left astounded.All in all, with the way the 7th shaped up, I can now hardly wait for the last two episodes to drop and see where this story ties up with the MCU.Performance Kathryn Hahn carries Agatha gracefully and so does Joe Locke handle his part of delivering arguably the biggest surprise and setup for this show and the broader MCU (Alice), who didn’t have much of an impact on the plot. Alas, Aubrey Plaza (Major spoilery surprise character) and the majestic Patti LuPone (Lilia) left me in awe towards the end of ep 7.Lastly, here is I hope the show comes to a satisfying conclusion and people give it a fair chance as it can perhaps also stand on its own even if you haven't watched WandaVision.PS: Also, this served me a scathing reminder to always give shows a chance before judging them from past experiences and of course, the multitude of differing opinions on the Internet.
